K-12 Residencies & Workshops

Family Albums – (Grades 4-8) This two-week residency engages students in creating an original performance work based on their family histories and legacies expressed through movement, music, and spoken word.

SNAPSHOT – (Grades K-12) This half-day residency includes a lecture/demonstration of SPDT’s repertory followed by classroom workshops.

MOVE / My Own Voice Expressed – (Grades 9-12) This one to two-week residency invites students to investigate concepts of identity and community through movement, music, spoken word, and video.

Teacher Workshop – This two-hour workshop provides teachers techniques and tools to integrate movement and theater into their classroom curriculum.

Families in Motion – This one-hour workshop for students to participate in with an adult relative or caregiver provides a joyful opportunity for families to connect in new ways.
